Bry Burrows: Jalen Hurts' Wife and IBM AI Executive

Bry Burrows is an artificial intelligence partner at IBM and the wife of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. She is not an actress. Several biography pages describe her as a performer on a streaming drama, and that is invented.

Who is Bry Burrows?

Bry Burrows is an American technology executive. Her full name is Bryonna Nicole Rivera Burrows. She is from Kennesaw, Georgia, and holds an MBA from the University of Alabama. She works as an artificial intelligence partner at IBM, a role she has held since January 2022. She is married to Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

She is deliberately private. She does not run a public Instagram account, and her professional networking profile has been removed.

What is Bry Burrows's career at IBM?

She joined IBM in 2019 as a senior client experience consultant, based in Dallas, Texas. IBM recognised her as a top performer in 2020. Her progression since then has included client experience work, sales, and a role leading software financing. She moved into artificial intelligence as an AI partner in January 2022, according to an interview she gave to Essence.

In 2022 she coached IBM's eight-week Accelerate programme, which supports minority undergraduates. Her degree and early career history are confirmed by the University of Alabama's own records.

What did Bry Burrows study at Alabama?

The University of Alabama records both an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in her name. Her degree fields were reported as Spanish and political science. She made the university's President's List in spring 2017. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Theta Sigma chapter.

She captained the Manderson Case Team to second place in 2016. The competition was held at Ohio State. She also took bronze in 2019. She was also vice president of the MBA Association.

Who is Bry Burrows married to?

She is married to Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback. They met at the University of Alabama in 2016. Their relationship was first confirmed in public at an NFC Championship game in January 2023. Their engagement was announced in September 2024.

They married in 2025. Men's Health reported in May 2025 that Hurts had confirmed a spring wedding. Some reports state that they held two ceremonies, one in spring and one in summer. That detail is not resolved.

When was Bry Burrows born?

No credible outlet publishes her birth date. Biography sites give May 1, 1997, but that figure appears only on content farm pages with no primary source. Sports Illustrated reported her age as 27 in September 2024. That fits a 1997 birth year, but it does not confirm one. Her hometown is documented as Kennesaw, Georgia, through university records. That is a hometown, not a verified birthplace.

No birth city appears in any credible source.

Is Bry Burrows an actress?

No. The claim has no basis. She appears in no cast list for any streaming drama, including the series she is said to have appeared in. She has no acting credits on any database. The description appears to be an automated error that attached a fictional career to a real name.

Her name is unusual enough that a generator picked it up while filling in templates. Those templates assigned her a career it could not verify.

What is Bry Burrows's net worth?

Undisclosed, and published figures are invented. Biography sites give ranges in the millions with no methodology and no source. She is a corporate executive, and that level of role involves no public financial disclosure. The honest answer is that her personal finances are not known.

Why is Bry Burrows so private?

Because she has chosen to be, and because her professional identity came first. Her career at IBM predates her public relationship by four years. Sports Illustrated and Page Six both describe her as notably low profile. Most published material about her is written as a footnote to her husband's career rather than as coverage of her own.

That asymmetry is the main reason biography pages have filled the gap with invention.

What is an AI partner at IBM?

The role sits within IBM's consulting and technology businesses. An AI partner works with clients to identify where artificial intelligence can be applied. That usually means scoping a problem, building a proof of concept, and then supporting deployment. It is a senior individual contributor role with significant client-facing responsibility.

Bry Burrows moved into it in January 2022, after several years in client experience and sales. She described the progression herself in an interview with Essence. That account is first-party, and it is the most reliable description of her role available.

What is the Manderson Case Team?

It is the case competition run by the University of Alabama's business school. Teams are given a business problem and have to prepare and present a solution. The competition is national, and schools field teams each year. Bry Burrows captained the Manderson team to second place in 2016 at Ohio State.

She was also part of the team that took bronze in 2019. It is a genuine distinction, and it is documented by the university's own newsroom.

Why do most articles about Bry Burrows not mention IBM?

Because coverage has largely treated her as a football spouse rather than an executive. Most of the available reporting dates from the period around her engagement in 2024. Her IBM career began in 2019 and reached its current level in 2022. That means her professional record predates almost all of the published attention.

The result is an article set that describes an actress rather than an executive. That single error propagates, because later pages copy earlier ones.

How did Bry Burrows and Jalen Hurts meet?

They met at the University of Alabama in 2016. She was completing her MBA while he was playing quarterback for the university. Their relationship was not made public until an NFC Championship game in January 2023. That gap is more than six years, and she kept a low profile throughout it.

Her public identity is tied to IBM rather than to football.

What is Bry Burrows's education record?

The University of Alabama records an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in her name. She studied Spanish and political science. She made the President's List in spring 2017. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Theta Sigma chapter.

That record is institutional, which makes it more reliable than any published profile.

Where does Bry Burrows work?

She is based in the United States, with her earliest IBM role in Dallas, Texas. Her later finance roles are all New York based. She has never held a public-facing or media role of any kind. That is consistent with a deliberate preference for privacy.

What has Bry Burrows said publicly?

Very little, and she has favoured one long-form interview with Essence. In it she described her career progression and her coaching work. She has not given interviews at conferences or on broadcast television. The scarcity of her public statements is itself the record.

Why is Bry Burrows's full name Bryonna Nicole Rivera Burrows?

Her first name appears in university records as Bryonna, and she uses Bry publicly. Rivera is a middle name, documented in the same institutional records. Those records are the reason the full form is reliable rather than inferred. They also establish Kennesaw, Georgia as her hometown.

That detail matters because it is often reported as a birthplace, which it is not. She also holds membership of Alpha Kappa Alpha, recorded by the chapter itself. Her earlier IBM roles were in client experience, which is a consulting discipline. She moved from that into sales, then into financing, then into artificial intelligence.

What is Bry Burrows's connection to the Philadelphia Eagles?

None directly. She is married to their quarterback, Jalen Hurts. She has no role with the team and no appearance at team events on record. The connection is entirely through her marriage. That is worth stating plainly, because coverage frequently implies an association that does not exist.

She met Hurts while both were students in Alabama, well before he entered the NFL.
