Joseph Sikora Wife: Tania Ribalow's Two Emmy Nominations

The Joseph Sikora wife is Tania Ribalow, a professional makeup artist based in New York. The Television Academy lists two Primetime Emmy nominations in her career. Both came in 2016. Both were for Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series. One was for the pilot of Vinyl on HBO, where she is credited as key makeup artist. The other was for the Knick episode "Whiplash" on Cinemax. Several competing pages state that she has a single nomination, and most of them cannot say where their figures came from. The academy's own database is the record, and it is free to read.

Ribalow keeps a low public profile. She is married to Sikora and they have no children. The two met on the set of Boardwalk Empire. She worked in the makeup department and he played Hans Schroeder. The Joseph Sikora wife question has one documented answer and a long tail of invention around it.

Quick Profile

Rows marked not documented are absent from the sources used here. Nothing else about the Joseph Sikora wife is on the record. Several rival pages publish a birth date, a height and a net worth for her. None of those come from a source we can cite.

Who is Joseph Sikora's wife?

Tania Ribalow is an American makeup artist who works in film and television. She is credited on Get Smart, The Irishman, The Greatest Showman and Joker. Her television credits include The Knick and Vinyl. She has worked as key makeup artist on several projects. That is a senior role in a production department.

Her public profile is small. Her professional record is not. That is the shape of most Joseph Sikora wife profiles. The pages describing her at length are the least reliable. The pages with solid facts are short.

Sikora has referred to her as his wife in public. People reported in November 2025 that the couple have not disclosed when they wed. Several other sites give a specific year anyway. Those years came from somewhere other than the couple. That silence is the most honest Joseph Sikora wife record available.

What has Tania Ribalow been nominated for?

Two Primetime Emmy nominations, both in 2016, both in the category Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic). The Television Academy lists her as key makeup artist for the Vinyl pilot. HBO produced it with Paramount Pictures and Jagged Films. It lists her as makeup artist for "Whiplash" from The Knick. Cinemax produced that with Ambeg Screen Products and Anonymous Content. This is the part of the Joseph Sikora wife record that is not in dispute.

The two nominations are for different networks and formats. That points to range rather than one lucky credit. Vinyl is a music drama. The Knick is a period medical drama set in early twentieth century New York. Period makeup carries the burden of the look.

She has also received a guild recognition. CelebSuburb reported a Makeup Artists and Hair Stylist Guild award won alongside Nicki Ledermann. That pairing is repeated by more than one outlet, so it carries more weight than an isolated claim. The guild's own record would confirm it. It is the other documented part of the Joseph Sikora wife record.

How did Tania Ribalow and Joseph Sikora meet?

They met on the set of Boardwalk Empire. That is the start of most Joseph Sikora wife profiles. People reported that Ribalow was part of the show's makeup team. Sikora appeared in two episodes, including the pilot. The series ran on HBO from 2010 to 2014.

Sikora told GQ in September 2023 that the meeting happened on an exact day. The same day he received a thank-you card from Martin Scorsese was the day he met his future wife. He described it as very special. Scorsese directed the Boardwalk Empire pilot. The Joseph Sikora wife details in this section are his own words, not hers.

Sikora has been publicly warm about the relationship he describes. In a January 2020 interview with BigBoyTV he said he had found something he loved more than acting. He called her a blessing. In the same interview he credited her with convincing him to seek therapy. He said he had been blaming everything on other people. Taking responsibility for his own life proved somebody cared enough to offer a way out. He said it worked.

Who is Joseph Sikora?

Sikora is an American actor from Chicago, Illinois, born to Barbara and Albin. His own account of the Joseph Sikora wife question is warmer than most biography pages suggest. He is of Polish and Dutch descent. He grew up in the Norwood Park and Jefferson Park neighbourhoods with two brothers, Albin and Chris. He graduated from Notre Dame College Prep in 1994. He studied acting at DePaul from 1994 to 1996, then graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 1998.

His screen career started early. As a teenager he appeared in a 1990 McDonald's commercial alongside Michael Jordan. His Broadway debut came in 2006 in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. He is a member of Chicago's Shattered Globe Theatre Company. His film work includes Shutter Island in 2010 and Jack Reacher in 2012. He played Frank Cosgrove Jr. on Ozark from 2020 to 2022.

His defining role is Tommy Egan on Power, where he starred from 2014 to 2020. He has since reprised the character in Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book IV: Force and Power: Legacy. In 2021 his production company Black Fox Productions signed a first-look deal with Lionsgate TV.

Why do rival pages contradict each other?

Because they are citing each other rather than sources. The clearest example on the Joseph Sikora wife record concerns their wedding. One site states that the wedding date clashed with Sikora's audition for Power, and that he nearly missed the role. A second site, published two years earlier by a different author, tells almost the same story in almost the same words. Both describe the wedding happening around the same time as the Power audition.

Neither account survives checking. Sikora was cast in Power in October 2013, per his encyclopaedia entry. A 2014 wedding cannot clash with a 2013 audition. People also reported that the couple have never published a wedding date at all.

The same pages disagree on smaller things, in both directions. One gives a height of six foot two. Another gives a different eye colour for the same person. Net worth figures appear on several sites and match none of them. None of that belongs on the Joseph Sikora wife record.

What is not documented about Tania Ribalow?

Her date of birth is not documented in any source we can cite, though at least three pages give one. Her height, weight, hair colour and eye colour are not documented, and the pages that list them contradict each other. No net worth figure is verifiable; one page states 1.3 million dollars, which is an invention rather than a disclosure. Her education and training are not documented. She has never given a published interview. The long question-and-answer exchanges attached to her name are constructed rather than reported. One page devotes a section to the Joseph Sikora wife question, the one that drives this traffic, and asserts an answer. A Joseph Sikora wife page should say the same. That is not a documented fact.

How did she get started?

Her earliest credited work dates to 1991, when she worked as a makeup artist on The Montel Williams Show. The professional half of the Joseph Sikora wife record is the longer half. That is a long way from the Emmy nominations that followed. Career paths in makeup departments often run this way, through long stretches of daily studio work rather than a single breakthrough.

Her credits since then include Get Smart from 2008, Too Big to Fail and Notes From the Field. Later ones include The Greatest Showman, The Irishman and Joker from 2019. One profile also lists music video work, including a Justin Bieber project.

None of those credits are disputed by anyone, and none of them are disputed by the biography sites either. The verifiable record of her professional life is longer and more consistent than the verifiable record of her personal one. That is the ordinary shape of a working craftsperson who has not chosen to be famous.

What does Sikora's own account add?

Four remarks from Sikora himself are on the record. They are the most useful part of the Joseph Sikora wife record. Together they say more than most profile pages do.

Asked in 2020 about his wife, he said he had found something he loved more than acting. That is the Joseph Sikora wife question answered on the record, by him. In the same interview he described being convinced to seek therapy. He said he had been blaming a lot on other people. Taking responsibility proved that somebody cared enough to offer him a way out, and he said plainly that it worked.

In 2023 he described the precise day he met his wife, tying it to a thank-you card from Martin Scorsese. In the same interview he joked that she is the reason he wears sunscreen, adding that he is translucent.

That last detail never appears on biography sites. They write about a woman who has never described her own life. Every quote in this article is one she or he actually said on the record.

Other partner profiles here include Bryan Spies, Abigail Hawk's husband, and Bry Burrows, Jalen Hurts' wife.

Another profile of a screen figure's partner is Jasmine Harman, whose husband Jon Boast fell ill.
